Bridesmaids’ Bouquets

Your bridesmaids are an integral part of your big day, so the flowers they carry are important too. Since your maids will be among the most heavily photographed group of the day it is important that their flowers complement your arrangement, their dresses and the overall vibe of the day. They can be smaller versions of your own beautiful bouquet or they can be a way of introducing more colour and texture into the overall style of the day.

Button Holes and Corsages

Button Holes are worn traditionally by the men in the wedding party; the groom, the best man, the ushers and the father of the bride and sometimes the father of the groom and the page boys. Button Holes can be made up using miniature flowers and foliage from the bouquets and can be designed to complement the colour of the gentlemen’s suits. Corsages are worn normally by the Mother of the Bride and the future Mother in law, and are often made up using the same flowers from the bouquets to enhance their outfits. Corsages are pinned normally on the right and Button Holes on the left lapel.

Flower Girl Bouquet or Basket

Pretty flower crowns, wands, hoops, and flower baskets are all possibilities. There are some really lovely ways to provide flowers for the youngsters in your wedding party. Flower crowns or ribands are really pretty and are suitable for most ages. Floral Wands or miniature bouquets are ideal for the very young while the older flower girl may carry a bouquet or a willow and floral hoop or you might consider a small basket of flower petals to scatter as she walks up the aisle and then a bouquet for the wedding photos.
